GutMap connects what you eat to how you feel. Log meals, track symptoms, and get AI-powered weekly reports that reveal the foods behind your discomfort.
Most food diaries make you do the detective work. GutMap does it for you.
Search for a dish, pick your ingredients, and save to My Meals for one-tap logging next time. Meal type is auto-detected from the time of day.
Track bloating, gas, pain, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, fatigue, and heartburn with severity levels.
Each symptom type has its own scientifically-backed onset window. Heartburn is checked within 3 hours, gas within 2-12 hours, and so on.
Every Sunday, get a detailed report: suspected triggers, safe foods, lifestyle correlations, and a doctor-ready clinical note.
AI guides you through elimination and reintroduction — confirming or clearing suspects one by one, with subgroup awareness.
Log stress, sleep, exercise, hydration, and cycle phase. See if your symptoms are food-related or lifestyle-driven.
Three steps. One week. Real answers.
Search for a dish, pick ingredients, and save to My Meals. Takes 30 seconds each time. The more you log, the smarter the analysis gets.
Your ingredients are checked against your symptoms using timing windows tailored to each symptom type. The Meal-to-Symptom Timeline shows exactly which meals preceded your symptoms.
Weekly AI reports surface your suspected triggers with count-based evidence, key insights, and a guided elimination plan. No more guessing.
Not just bloating. GutMap tracks the full spectrum of digestive symptoms.
Each symptom is tracked with 1-5 severity, exact timestamp, and optional notes. Most are correlated with your meals using symptom-specific timing windows. Constipation is tracked for weekly trend analysis rather than single-meal correlation.
GutMap is a personal wellness tool that helps you spot patterns in your food and symptoms. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose conditions, and should not replace professional healthcare. Always consult your doctor before making significant dietary changes.
For each meal you log, GutMap checks if a symptom occurred within that symptom's specific onset window. Heartburn and nausea are checked within 0-3 hours (gastric reactions), bloating within 0-12 hours, and gas within 2-12 hours (colonic fermentation). Constipation is analyzed as a weekly pattern rather than linked to individual meals. Over time, ingredients that consistently appear before symptoms rise to the top as suspected triggers.
You can generate a weekly report from the app as soon as you have a few days of meals and symptoms logged. Reports are generated on demand — not on a fixed schedule — so you decide when you have enough data. The more you log, the more accurate the analysis. Monthly reports unlock once you have at least 2 weekly reports.

A food diary just records what you ate. GutMap automatically correlates your ingredients with your symptoms, identifies patterns across weeks, guides you through elimination diets, tracks lifestyle factors (stress, sleep, exercise), and generates AI-powered insights with a clinical note you can share with your doctor.
Yes. GutMap is designed for anyone trying to identify food-related digestive triggers, whether you have IBS, suspect FODMAP sensitivities, or just want to understand what causes your bloating, gas, or other symptoms. The app has subgroup awareness for dairy, fructans, and gluten.
